Erick García Briones or El Insomne is a visual artist from Chiapas who passionately explores illustration, since 2013 with the creation of the Wo’oj brand he was able to show the typical colors of his native Chiapas, along with his unique vision of design, which through mixed techniques, seeks to extract elements from everyday life and contextualize them on the canvas.

Erick García Briones, committed to his social work, collaborates with Sembrando Amor, a project that donates food, clothing, toys, medicine and carries out artistic activities in Tapachula, where the artist offers workshops on therapy through art and storytelling for children and adolescents in vulnerable contexts.

Graduated from the Autonomous University of Chiapas, he teaches classes in traditional pictorial and illustration techniques, from oil, acrylic, watercolor, graphite to woodwork; combined with tools to help your students express their emotions through art.
